topYes! We made this special RSVP system just for tech-savvy people like you. Check it out!
topIt's Minnesota in mid-May, so it's hard to say. Our advice? Keep an eye on the weather, and bring along a sweater or jacket if it's going to be chilly, I know we'll have ours!
You may want to steer clear of stiletto heels. The ceremony, cocktails and various activites will be taking place on grass, we don't want you to sink in!
topThere is a wedding block at AmericInn Motel & Suites under the name "Peterson/Knopf Wedding". There will be a shuttle running between this hotel and the venue prior to the ceremony and at the end of the reception. Full details here.
The bride and groom will be spending their wedding night at the Ann Bean Mansion. Prior to the wedding, the couple and their wedding party will be staying at the Lowell Inn.
There is additional information about lodging here.
topPeople have asked if either of us are from Stillwater, or why we chose it as the place we wanted to get married. Neither of us are from Stillwater (Zoe is from Minneapolis and Chris grew up in Mankato and Northfield), but frankly, Stillwater is a gorgeous city! If this will be your first visit, we hope you can find a little time to stroll down Main Street near the St. Croix River and enjoy the cute boutiques and river-side dining Stillwater has to offer. It's truely a lovely place.
The real reason is that we both fell in love with Camrose Hill. You are going to love it, too.
topContrary to popular belief, the "K" in "Knopf" is not, in fact, silent. Knopf is pronounced "k'nof".
Fun fact: "Knopf" means "button" in German!
In case you were wondering, "Peterson" is pronounced in the usual way.
topWe're hoping for beautiful weather, but if the weather is uncooperative, we do have a backup plan. There is a covered area on-location for the reception. If we are rained out, the ceremony will also be moved beneath this pavillion. It couldn't hurt to bring an umbrella if it's looking inclement.
topThere is parking on-site at Camrose Hill. It is somewhat limited, so carpooling is recommended!
There is also a shuttle that will run between AmericInn, downtown Stillwater, and Camrose. Take a look at our transportation section for more information.
topWe're going to have a wedding! Aside from that, we have lots of fun planned for you, our most beloved friends and family. There will be lawn games, music, dancing, cake, and a bonfire with special s'mores!
We can pretty much guarantee you will have a great time.
topTake a look at our registry page.
topWe will be honeymooning on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. We will be spending Sunday at home with our families and kitties, and leaving Monday for paradise!
topThere will be a shuttle running between the AmericInn Motel & Suites and Camrose Hill, with a stop in downtown Stillwater, before the ceremony and as the reception draws to a close. Please take advantage of this complementary service if you are staying in our wedding block or in downtown Stillwater!
The shuttle will pick guests up from AmericInn at 2:30pm, stopping in downtown Stillwater at 2:45. It will begin its return trips at the end of the night at 10:00pm, with the last ride at 11:00.
